Since the mind map was proposed in the1970s, it had always been a concern ofthe education sector. In abroad, many countries applied mind map to the field ofeducation, and had a very good effect. Mind map,As a relatively new concept inChina, the application values of which has become increasingly prominent. Based onthe analysis of the high school chemistry curriculum standards, the investigation ofhigh school chemistry review status in recent years, I found that there are manyproblems in the general review of high school chemistry. According to thecharacteristics and purposes of the mind map, I integrated the mind map with highschool chemistry review and Put forward some strategies. In the end, I used thestrategies in high school chemistry review,in order to stimulate the enthusiasm of thestudents, improve their masks and develop their innovative thinking. The purpose of this paper is to investigate the effect of mind map used in highschool chemistry review with experimental method, investigation, literature andinduction. The teaching practice started in class three (experimental class), class four(control classes) in Beipiao High School in September2012. In the course of practice, firstly the teacher teaches the students “understanding and guidance of the mind map”to enable students to have an overall understanding of mind map and be able to drawit. Secondly, the teachers creat a situation that the students put forward to using mindmap by demonstrating a vivid mind to them. Thirdly the students finish the picturesaccording to their own understanding and group cooperation, then show the mind mapand compete between the team. The practice shows that students use mind mapping to assiste chemistry reviewnot only be able to mobilize their interest in learning, but also be able to greatlyimprove their achievements. Students draw a mind map in the form of a group, notonly to improve their own knowledge structure, but also to strengthen the exchangesand cooperation between them. In addition, in the drawing, the students can thinkfreely, without the bondage of textbook, without the bondage of teacher taught theshackles of the knowledge-point order, just according to their own habits of mind,so as to promote the development of students’ creative thinking.
