With the rapid development of society and economy, the state and society arepaying more and more attention to education. So the professional accomplishment ofthe teachers also draws more and more attention in the education sector. In theteachers’ professional skills and professional quality, professional knowledge hasalways been the core. This paper focuses on the subject knowledge attainment of highschool Chinese teacher, and studied on it. A broad survey was carried for in-servicehigh school teachers of Chinese language, using the survey method, interview methodand literature method.This paper mainly relies on the analysis of the questionnaire and interviews, andanalyzes the deficiencies and advantages of professional knowledge of high schoolteachers. The factors that influence the development of the teachers’ professionalknowledge were analyzed based on these advantages and disadvantages, and in thelight of these factors proposed strategies and approaches to improve professionalknowledge attainment of high school Chinese teachers. At the same time, offeredsuggestions for criteria of assessment of professional knowledge of Chinese subjectfor teachers during entry and on guard.
