Sociology Research On Female College Students’ Sports Aesthetics

Female college students’ values are at the early formation. Owing to lacking ofscientific sports aesthetics and misleading contemporary trend, their sports aestheticsappeared deviation. As the main groups of motherland construction and socialprogress, female college students and their healthy sports aesthetics is of vitalsignificance to their physical and mental growth, so that it needs more attention fromschools and society.This paper starts with female body and research on figure beauty in sportsaesthetics. By the method of literature study, narrative study and expertiseinvestigation, this paper aim to find the deviation of the recognition on figure beauty.In order to excessively pursue slim figure, female college students ignore the basicprinciple of physical health, even though sacrifice their health. In the pursuit of slim,there is great blindness in this issue. They blindly follow the social trend without theirown judgment, so that parroting sports aesthetics appears. Due to too much focus ontheir figures, they neglect inward values. As a result, women’s sense of self-worthreduced, and misunderstanding on self-worth emerged. This paper is based on sportsaesthetic and aimed to analyze the forming factors of dislocation of sports aestheticsfrom philosophy, sociology, pedagogy and multiple perspectives. PE in college is themain way to guide students to form a correct aesthetics, but PE teaching idea is“technology is more important than concept”. There are limited sports facilitiessuitable for female college students. All above becomes the factors that affect them toform a right sports value. Schools should pay more attention to this problem and givemore support, such as sports facilities and venues. Teaching contents and methodsshould pay attention to the girls which are helpful to their healthy sports aesthetics’formation and guidance. In addition, society plays an important role in this case. As amain approach to cultural transmission, mass media cannot blindly pursue interests orcater to business needs, rather than to spread health and positive things. They need tomold positive idols rather than those who just have a flowery appearance. In casemisleading the public, especially female college students, the whole society’sintervene with media market is necessary and create a positive and healthy aestheticenvironment.This paper aims to advocate female college students to form scientific healthysports aesthetics. More attentions from the society, mass media and schools areexpected through this article, which could be benefit for building a positive aestheticenvironment, guiding students to form correct sports aesthetics and promoting aharmonious development of their bodies and minds.
