With the development of time, the important task of education is to cultivatestudents ’ ability to learn, to promote life-long education. Reading is learning basic skills.Under the background of education, the development of students ’ reading ability in thephysical teaching should be paid more attention to. In recent years, the science teachingunder the comprehensive exam,type changes from previous knowledge from a singleobservation can be seen gradually to test students ’ reading ability and the ability ofinformation extraction and analysis. Changes of this situation requires teachers shouldpay more attention to teaching scientific, to reading skills, to training and improving thestudents’ reading ability in physics in the teaching activities.To cultivate students’reading ability in physics is the premise and guarantee of learning physics, is theadaption to the new era of education reform requirements, the implementation ofeducation for all-around development and necessary to achieve life-long development ofindividuals.According to the characteristics of physics, the thesis aims to cultivate and improvethe students’ reading ability of the method. From Physics textbook reading, experimentreading, Physics background reading, and chart Reading, the thesis describes the manyspecial physics reading. Training physical reading ability is an important means inInterest cultivation and autonomic learning for students. The thesis started from thehabits of students’ reading and cultivation of learning ability, grounded on educationalpsychology the educational psychology of information processing theory based on thecharacteristics of the physical reading,and combined the scientific reading methods andskills presents methods and skills of text information reading, comparison reading, chartreading, associative recall reading and extracurricular reading.Based on the above research, the thesis puts forward that the cultivation ofstudents’ reading ability should be targeted and suit the students’ requirement ofpsychological development, use a variety of reading strategies, pay more attention toscientific method of reading teaching, change their bad reading habits, and pay attentionto the students’ physics of reading training is one of the most important parts in the teachingdesign.hopethisresearchformiddleschoolphysicsreadingteachingcansolvesomeproblemsinteachingandprovideanewteachingmethod.
