A Study On The Influence Of Wechat To Undergraduates In Ideological And Political Education And The Countermeasures

With the rapid development of digital information and mobilecommunication technology, current application of the mobile media isdeeply involved in many areas of public life. As the latest production ofmobile phone media, Wechat has attracted the college students successfully.For its unique functions and operability, it is more and more popular incollege students. As the useful channel.Wechat has a great influence in their lives, including daily activities,thinking methods and study environment. On one hand, Wechat is one of thehottest convenient communication tool in college; on the other hand, itprovides a new platform for the ideological and political education work.However, it also brings some opportunities and challenges too. Like adouble-edge sword, its special functions have some negative impact. It is inthis environment that we should propose new education methods for collegework.This paper introduces the current situation of Wechat at first. Then itanalysis the double influence based on the questionnaire survey of Wechatuses in college. Combined with the ideological and political education ofcollege students, it demonstrates the opportunities and challenges brought tocollege ideological political education. In the end, the conclusions given bythis paper have basically shown the specific strategies for collegeideological political education in modern Wechat environment, including theaspects of education objects, subjectivity of teaching, education carriers andeducation policy.
