Proceeding from the characteristics of multimedia teaching and the role of multimedia in ideology politics teaching, and according with the principle of multimedia teaching, this thesis discusses the current situation of application aboutmultimedia in ideology politics teaching. By using questionnaire and interview, the thesis analyzes the usage of multimedia for teachers and students, and summarizes the shortcomings of multimedia teaching in ideology politics teaching.According with new curriculum standards, we give the specific optimization strategy from these aspects: the courseware of multimedia teaching, the combination between multimedia teaching and traditional teaching, the process of multimedia teaching, optimization of multimediateaching in Ideological and political teaching, such as teaching content, teaching structure,teachingmethods. Conclusions have a very important significance for enhancing the effect of multimedia teaching of ideology politics.This paper is divided into three parts. The first part is the introduction, the significance ofthe research, outlined the topic object, method. The second part of the text is divided into threechapters. The first chapter " outline of multimedia teaching ". The main research of multimediateaching, characteristics, principles and the definition of multimedia in the middle schoolthought political lesson role. The second chapter mainly uses the questionnaire survey andinterviews to analyze the use of multimedia information of teachers and students, summed upthe multimedia teaching of ideology and politics lesson from. The third chapter is the centralpart, the article mainly uses the example analysis method combined with the teaching contents,strategies of multimedia teaching of middle school thought political lesson in question. Thethird part "conclusion" was put forward. This paper studies the shortage and future research.The focus of this paper in the third chapter. The main elements of the teaching process andteaching of middle school ideological and political courses in these two aspects, combined with the second chapter summarizes the problem on how to use the multimedia teaching better inIdeological and political course, proposed a series of effective optimization strategy.
