| With the development of information technology, teaching in the information environment brings a new fresh for pedagogy. However, the traditional middle-school teaching condition is not optimistic, and its single teaching style and content leads to low teaching effect. As new-era English teachers, we should know how to improve the English teaching effect. Instructional design is an important way to achieve English instruction optimization, and the key to reform English-class teaching. Using information technology in English teaching has a great influence on improving the effect and efficiency of English teaching. Therefore, we need to use information technology to reform the English instruction, to optimize the instructional design both in theory and practice, that is to say, by designing teaching procedure and teaching method in information environment to improve English instruction.This thesis based on developing learning ability and creativity in the information age as core concept, modern educational thought as theoretical basis, and information technology as teaching instrument. To improve student’s English level and learning interest. the teacher teaches English through instructional design in the information environment.The study lasted for a semester. Two-class students of senior one in one middle-school in Hu Nan province join in the research, the total number is eighty-three people. Divided into experimental class and control class. the experimental class adopts informatizational instruction while the control class uses the traditional instruction. Using the questionnaires and tests methods collect the experimental data. After one semester experiment, and the analysis of the data, it can be concluded that the experimental-class students’English level and their learning interest improved a lot through the informatizational instruction. |
