Entering the21st century, China has entered a new round of curriculum reform in elementary education.In the course of history curriculum reform in middle school, history teacher and history teacher training is acrucial element. Historical normal student is the driving force of future teachers. The degree of theirunderstanding of the new curriculum reform will directly affect the implementation of the new curriculum. Thenew curriculum reform demands even higher than before, but by survey and analysis of the survey results,normal college students’ transition to teachers of history do not can well meet the requirements of teachers andcurriculum reform. Except for normal students specializing in history, the problems of our history teachertraining and inductive education is also in the relevant.Problems in historical teacher education are these: curriculum structure be partial to study of the theory, inparticular of historical expertise, and practical courses smaller proportion; education theory course contentssingle; did not meet the combination of theory and practice; less teaching skill training model, time is short,andmore a formality; scientific orientation courses cannot meet the needs of primary and secondary school historyteachers in the future.Problems in history teachers’ vocational education are these: lack of help play with the guiding role ofteachers; untimely and fewer and single in vocational education; the majority of secondary school teaching andresearch atmosphere is not strong enough, with strong teaching and research activities of the utilitarian;inadequate protection and implementation of the new curriculum training; insufficient funds into vocationaleducation and unsound system.In order to solve the problem in the course of normal college students’ transition to a teacher, normalstudents specializing in history, history teacher education management in colleges, schools and departmentsshould do something about it. Normal students specializing in history should set advanced of educationteaching concept, especially life learning views to perfect themselves in knowledge structure and improvehistory education teaching capacity. College of history teachers education who is responsible to historyteachers’ pre-service education, should reform history teachers education courses system and make educationtheory and teaching practice organic combined up, while absorption reference basic education reform ofstandard and results, focus on improve history normal student of integrated quality. In order to level educationstage, education management sector, education in primary and secondary schools and historical normalcolleges should pay more attention to vocational education in the historical status and role of teachers professional development, promoting into a institutionalization of vocational education, promoting thediversification of the vocational education mode, forming similar institution to United States teacherprofessional development institutions.
