| Owing to its emphasis on teachers’respect for children’s interests and needs and giving support to children on the basis of observation, area activity is becoming a advantageous way to implement the preschool education programmatic document in our country and a new direction of current preschool education reform.But for the art activity that pursues the peculiarity, carrying out in the regional form puts forward the new requirements and challenges for teacher. This research mainly puts the teachers’ support in the area activities of art as the breakthrough point and analyzes the factors of area arts activities according to the children’s specific performance in the area activities of art. And then it discusses the concepts behind the teachers’support and analyzes the current situation of the area activities of art from two aspects of subject and object and tries to give some education suggestions.The research found that overall area activity of art in kindergarten content and structure is given priority to high structure and the structure of the high content, low structure and non structure of the content is very few. And most activities in art area are given priority to practicing the skill of operational activities and fail to give children chances to explore and express according to their willingness. Under the activity of the high structure and higher structure, the steps such as materials provided, import activity of the teacher in front of the activity, observation and guidance in the activities and evaluations after the activities have the problems of support that tend to result and ignore the child’s active in the are art learning.From the objective perspective, the reasons why teacher have the deviation are the kindergarten curriculum structure which is focus on the collective teaching activities and large proportion between teacher and children, teachers’effort is not enough; From the subjective perspective, reason comes from that teacher shortcomings on understanding of child development and children’s art education.And teachers’understanding of are activities only stays in concept level.
