Under the influence of the continuous enrollment in the higher education systemreform and universities, the vulnerable groups of poor students continue to highlight theproblem in a transitional period of China. The problem has a significant impact for thedevelopment and harmony of colleges and universities, and a harmonious societybuilding. Traditional ideas and methods of aid for the vulnerable groups of poor studentscan not meet the needs of them, so the need to introduce new professional ideas andmethods of aid for them.Departure from the professional perspective of the school casework, this paper isdivided into six parts to study the aid of the vulnerable groups of poor students. The firstpart is the introduction, analysis of the source of the problem and significance, and todescribe the research purpose, content, method and the research innovation. The secondpart is the analysis of the status of the vulnerable groups of the poor students, the analysisof the general problem of the vulnerable groups of the poor students, the type ofvulnerable groups and poor students are divided into poor students economicallyvulnerable groups, psychological vulnerable groups, studies of vulnerable groups, for thefour categories of employment of vulnerable groups, respectively, were analyzed fromfour aspects. The third part is the specific practical operation. We use the concepts andmethods, process and techniques of the school casework to aid different types of thevulnerable groups of poor students. The fourth part analyzes the advantages anddisadvantages of school casework aid for the vulnerable groups of poor students.Although there are some limitations in using school casework to aid the vulnerablegroups of poor students, school casework aid for the vulnerable groups of poor studentshas applicability and effectiveness and it is worth of developing and promoting. The fifthpart analyzes put forward countermeasures about aid for poor students school caseworkissues related to vulnerable groups.The sixth part is the conclusion, in which concludesthe paper, and put forward the direction of future efforts.
