In the context of multicultural prevalenting,the party and the country have put great importance to the ideological and political education of the universities. It requires to research and innovative in the theory of the traditional course of ideological and political education, rich in the theoretical aspects of the ideological and political education, and develop new areas of the ideological and political education work in practice, so as to improve the ideological and political quality of college students and inject new vitality to the comprehensive and coordinated development of the students. Domestic hidden curriculum of the ideological and political education is still in its infancy, but has also made a series of useful achievements. On the basis of reading and researching large number of documents,the author analyzizes concretely of the hidden course’s concept, connotation and basic theory as well as the development and utilization of new ideas and new strategies. The following is a logical structure and main contents of the article.The first part is an introduction on the research significance, innovation, and the research situation of the hidden curriculum. In abroad it is American’s educator Jackson firtly use the concept of hidden curriculum. Since then researchers formed different genre and began to research in the concept;content and so on. The research starts later in domestic, and in recent years it becomes an important object in the field, it has also become an important content of the curriculum reform today.In the second part the author defines the concept and principle of the hidden curriculum, and category in three angles resolution from the features, functions, basic connotation of the Ideological and Political hidden curriculum.The unique structure of ideological and Political Education hidden curriculum determines the unique nature which is different from the dominant curriculum, and thus becomes an effective way to enhance the ideological and political education.The ideological and political function of the hidden curriculum can be divided into two aspects:the social control and promoting the development of the individual.The article describes in detail the criteria for the classification of the various categories as well as the personal view. The third part discusses the theoretical basis and knowledge brokering of the hidden curriculum of ideological and political education. Constructivist theory and indoctrination theory is the direct theoretical basis of the hidden curriculum of ideological and political education.Ideological and political education hidden curriculum can be said without exception from the educational goals established, to the use of educational ways.The article also draws on the knowledge of psychology, a detailed analysis of the psychological mechanism of the individual to accept new knowledge and experience, the psychological basis of the ideological and political education hidden curriculum determine its scientific nature and effectivenessPart IV discusses the way of the hidden curriculum of ideological and political’s development and utilization,from two perspectives:teaching in the classroom and out of the classroom. Besize expounding the basic theory,the article also discusses the specific implementation in detail, aiming to rich in the theoretical knowledge as well as the practical significance of this article.
