Teaching behaviors of preschool teachers in picture book reading teaching is the key factor to affect the quality of picture book reading teaching. Study in depth of teachers’ teaching behaviors in picture book reading teaching on one hand enriches and develops the teaching theory of preschool education, on the other hand, provides practical basis for the majority preschool teachers to carry out picture book reading teaching more effectively.The research mainly adopts classroom observation method. The author observes and records the teachers’ teaching behaviors in picture book reading teaching with self-made observation scale of teachers’ teaching behaviors of picture book reading teaching in kindergarten. The three different behaviors are displaying behavior, dialogue behavior and guiding behavior. Then the author disposes the research data with SPSS17.0. The author deeply analyzes the results, discusses and summarizes the suitability about the teacher’s teaching behavior. The appropriate teaching behaviors of teachers are:Rich and various leading behavior, flexible review behavior, reasonable and valid question behavior. The inappropriate teaching behaviors of teachers are:the teachers are lack of wit in teaching, inefficiency in teachers’responses, teachers don’t pay enough attention to children’s independent reading and the level of guidance is not high. Finally, the research proposes some recommendations to improve effective teaching behavior of teachers in picture book reading teaching. To establish constructive teaching concept, to enhance the professionalism of the preschool teachers, to promote teaching ability of preschool teachers in picture book reading teaching.
