Social capital is an important concept in the study of sociology,it refers to the individual or organization formed in the long-term relationship with people’s stable relations,as well as the relationship of condensed into group jointly abide by the rules,these rules can also appear as values,beliefs,behaviors,norms,etc. The college students’social capital,as one kind of social capital,can be defined in social community of students and parents,school,society,The college students’social capital includes all kinds of long-term exchanges and mutual effects between object formed by a series of identity relation,and the relationship between the accumulation of values,norms and trust behavior such as concept of norms and beliefs. Main constituent of the social capital of college students,like common sense of the social capital,including network and trust,norms,and mutually beneficial relationship,these two elements are interdependent and promote each other. College students’social capital is mainly composed of family social capital,school social capital,and social capital in the social practice,in this paper,the main component of social capital among college students as measurement,analysis summed up college students’social capital has the characteristics of high stability,the differences and the limitations. From the positive sense,college students’social capital has a positive meaning for college students’moral education, college students’social capital is the integral part of college students’healthy personality. It can effectively help students accurately role positioning in the socialization process,and strengthen the moral practice ability,but specifically,different nature of the college students’social capital’s has different influence on the moral education:health and open social capital can enhance college students’moral education;To the contrary,closed and narrow social capital will restrict college students comprehensive quality enhancement. Optimization of college students’social capital can effectively avoid the negative impact of moral education on the college students.The student individual should enhance the consciousness of accumulate social capital;Family health education atmosphere is propitious to the formation of college students’social capital;Support for student associations in university is propitious to promote the healthy growth of students’social capital;A variety of social practice is propitious to enhance the value of college students’social capital;Family,school,and social should not be isolated in the process of college students’social capital accumulation and optimization,We should integrate family,school and social resources,in a concerted effort cultivating and optimizing college students’social capital, ultimately achieve the purpose of promoting university moral education.
