| This research aims to explore how to promote college students’ strategies transfer from Exam Coping to Job Hunting, attempts to promote college students’ professional skills to the transformation of the social adaptation ability. Under the current severe employment situation, especially for college students and university career guidance work has theoretical enlightenment and practical significance.Above all, having referred to literature both domestically and internationally,"College Students’ Exam Coping Strategies" and "College Students’ Job Hunting Strategies" are defined. Next, by conducting in-depth interviews, structured dimensions in exam coping strategies and job hunting strategies are found. After that, in accordance with psychological testing, the writer designs the "Questionnaire on Exam Coping Strategies". Besides, the "Questionnaire on Job Hunting Strategies", the "Supplemental Questionnaire on the Pre-test of Group Counseling", and the "Questionnaire on Effect Evaluation of Group Counseling" are conceived to meet the needs of group counseling. In the final, group counseling scheme which can facilitate strategy transferring is designed. In this scheme, ninety-seven college students are divided into experimental groups and control groups, and intervened psychologically during three months. This research has drawn the following conclusions:i. College students’ exam strategies have five dimensions:uniqueness, initiative, diversity, flexibility and comprehensiveness.ii. The "Questionnaire on Exam Coping Strategies" is good in reliability and validity. iii. Students’ exam coping strategies differ greatly in self-efficacy, in grade and major, but see no apparent difference in gender. iv. There is some relevance between their exam coping strategies and job hunting strategies. v. Target-oriented group counseling can promote exam coping strategies to transfer to job hunting strategies.Contribution of this research:i. innovation:Firstly, the concept that exam coping strategies are valuable internal resources is brought forward. Students can make full and scientific use of their matured exam coping strategies, and transfer them into job hunting and social adaptation strategies in an effective way, to enter the society successfully. Secondly, besides lecturing in class, a new way of promoting strategy transferring by group counseling is found. ii. Tools developed:group counseling scheme and a series of relevant questionnaires and surveys are designed for further reference in the field. iii. This research offers constructive suggestions to teachers, administrators in guiding students’ employment. |
