As we know, English education has important cultural significance and social significance. With the accession of WTO and the booming of the economy, competition becomes more intense. English education is an important part of quality-oriented education, the Chinese government attaches great importance to English education in all stages of education. The core status of English education presents in the aspect of curriculum, class hour arrangement and the test arrangement. However, it is common for students to dislike learning English in the course of learning. According to the survey, primary English education can not get the attention it deserves, high school students are seriously tired of learning English. English learning mainly depends on learning motivation, interest is the best teacher. Let every student want to learn English and be interested in English, which is the ideal of English teachers. However, in practical teaching, it is common that some students don’t like English, or afraid of even hate English. To analyze the causes of students’ weariness, take effective measures to help students eliminate school-weary psychology, ensure that English teaching smoothly, which become the important topic of common concern.In order to meet the needs of the student who enters a higher school, job, and the future development, and meet the needs of national development of talent training, Through investigating the situation of Qinglong Shan high school students learning English, according to the data analysis about students disliking English reasons including social environment, family environment, English teachers and their own factors these aspects, and put forward corresponding countermeasures according to these reasons, push myself to improve teaching quality and ability, and provide reference for other English teachers in teaching activities, hope to be able to effectively improve the status quo of Qinglong Shan high school in Xian’an district Xianning city students disliking English and improve the quality of teaching in our school.
