The rapid development of modern information technology on the highschool probability and statistical model of education, students have aprofound impact. In order to adapt to this trend, China in twenty-first Centuryto begin a new round of curriculum reform, the modern informationtechnology into middle school mathematics probability and statistics of thenew curriculum concept. Therefore, how to apply the modern informationtechnology application in the high school mathematics probability andstatistics teaching, so as to improve the teaching quality, optimize theclassroom teaching effect, is the key to the new curriculum reform.But thecurrent teaching of view still exists many problems, this article from the highschool probability and statistics course facing the actual teaching problems, inview of the high school probability and Statistics Teaching in the problem ofexistence, put forward the integration of teaching design. The modern thoughtof mathematics education, the traditional mathematics teaching experienceand advanced modern information technology the perfect combination, givefull play to the modern information technology for the high school probabilityand statistics teaching service, through independent, cooperation, explore theteaching activities to cultivate students’ comprehensive ability andinformation literacy.This article mainly through the action research method, in the practiceof research, at the same time with the questionnaire survey method,experience summary method, case study method. In view of the traditionalhigh school mathematics teaching problems, combined with the current highschool mathematics curriculum standard idea, to high school mathematicsprobability and Statistics Teaching for example, elaborated the condition ofmodern information technology and high school mathematics teachingprocess design, as well as high school mathematics teachers should have theconcept of the new curriculum, new knowledge, and puts forward a practicaloperation teaching design which can be applied to the high school probability and statistics teaching.In probability and Statistics Teaching in high school, teachers shouldproperly use the modern information technology, to improve the students’learning method, guide the students to use information technology tools tolearn mathematics knowledge, explore, study some meaningful, valuablemathematics problems. In the fourth chapter of the high school curriculum"probability of a random event" as an example of modern informationtechnology application in classroom teaching. Using modern informationtechnology to image and real reveals the inherent law of random events,through the simulation experiment to further understand the meaning ofprobability. In the information technology and the teaching of probabilitystatistics in the integration, the main use of the method of operation is simplecalculator, computer and Excel software, geometric drawing software, inteaching probability and statistics knowledge learning, modern informationtechnology tools introduced auxiliary teaching thoughts and methods.Through the practice of classroom teaching in senior high schoolclassroom in the proper application of modern information technology to helpstudents learning, in the learning style, learning interest, learning motivationand learning achievement of great help.The result shows that: in the high school mathematics classroomteaching the proper application of modern information technology helps tostimulate the student to study mathematics the interest and enthusiasm forlearning, help to enhance the information literacy of the students, helpstudents understand and grasp the knowledge, is conducive to the transfer ofknowledge application, raises student’s exploration spirit, improve students tolink theory the actual capacity, is conducive to the cultivation of students’innovative spirit and practical ability. Therefore, in the high schoolmathematics classroom teaching the application of modern informationtechnology is feasible and effective.
