Innovative Research On University Student Affairs From Perspective Of College System

Student affairs is an important part of education management in universities. Each college and university has been attached great importance to the student management, put a lot of manpower, material and financial resources, and has made achievements in theoretical research and practical experience. With the deepening of reform and opening up and economic development, higher education is not only facing opportunities, but also there is a serious challenge. In this case, some universities in accordance with the law of education around the talent training objectives, boldly reform in the student management practice, conduct a useful exploration of the reform of universities’student management. Academy system is an important exploration and try, which draws on the management experience of foreign well-known residential college system, combined with the actual situation in all colleges and universities to transform, and the practice is proved to be successful. Academy system play a very important role in cultivating high-quality talents in universities. It makes up of the deficiency of the traditional mode, reflects the people-oriented work idea, pays attention to students’ personality growth and development, closes the distance between the teachers and students, builds a strong educational atmosphere. At the same time, the current academy institution lacks systematic theoretical guidance. This article synthetically apply the basic principles and methods of management, education, psychology and other disciplines to study on the model of student management under the concept of the academy institution.The paper consists of five parts, and the process of the study uses the literature analysis, the comparative method and historical analysis. The first part introduces the research background and meaning, defines the important concept of this paper and generalizes relevant study achievements. Then analyzes the theoretical basis, main characteristics and the superiority of the university student affairs from perspective of college system; The third chapter discusses the present situation of student affairs of those well-known universities who implemented the College System, then portrays the inspiration for our country’s student affairs in college system;The fourth chapter rational analysis of college system student affairs in colleges and universities in our country, the present situation and the main feature of international famous universities that used accommodation college system; analysis of the causes executing the College System from the existing main issues and challenges which existing in student affairs; then expounds respectively and compares the situation of college student affairs in colleges and universities in Hong Kong and Macau and the Mainland. Chapter5analyzes the innovation model of students’ management from constructing guarantee mechanism, creating educational environment, changing the concept and the way of education, and discusses the possible development direction.
