Moral education is a main task during our country’s modernization construction. It influences the individual growth as well as the development of the society. The moral education for the youth is a systematic project, where schools burden the important responsibility. In the new situation, a new group appears in Jining No.1Senior High School—art students. The students in this kind class major in drawing. Therefore, the curriculum and teachers are different from those of normal classes. Faced with the students whose situations are special, the author has been thinking about how to conduct an effective moral education class. Over years, being a headmaster and political teacher teaching art students, the author has consistently drawn teaching experience, during which, the problem of constructing a moral education system aiming at the art students always existed in the author’s mind, and up to now the system has been gradually apparent. Adopting comparative analysis, literature method and citing cases and so on, the author exposed the present situation and the causes of the art "students’morality, but also put forward the strategies of improving the moral education of the art students:to carry our the moral education smoothly, a school environment should be formed where the school pays attention to the moral education and all the members are involved. Meanwhile the class teachers and other subject teachers should take responsibility for the moral education. What’s more, it is necessary to strengthen contact with parents and focus on the social reaction to improve the effectiveness of moral education on the art students to the fullest.The paper was divided in to four parts.The first part was mainly about the position of the principles of the moral education, its research background and signification at home and abroad.The second part included the introduction to the art students in Jining No.1 Senior High School and their present moral situation.The third part consisted of the analysis of the causes.The fourth part was made up of the strategies that the school’s function should be strengthened to construct a good moral environment and that the use of the teachers should be fully made of in moral education.
