Modern distance education is a new type of education with thedevelopment of computer network technology, computer technology,multimedia technology, communication technology and the Internet and otherhigh-tech as the main teaching methods, cross-space-time teaching. Moderndistance learning gives new content to the concept of teaching and learning.For many years China’s vast rural areas, primary and secondary schoolslocated in remote teaching environment is relatively backward, the faculty isalso relatively weak. Therefore, we must accelerate the development ofdistance education in rural schools. As distance education technology is thework of modern educational technology is an important part, it will have adirect impact on the development of modern education technology and thequality of teachers and improvement of teaching quality. Through theinvestigation on Xincheng District in rural primary and secondary schoolteachers’ use of distance education resources to guide teaching, the author isdeeply rural primary and secondary school teachers in the use of DistanceEducation resources to promote their own quality and improve the quality ofteaching is not optimistic, thus impeding the the development of schooleducation. One of the more prominent problems through research, I proposedsome solutions, continuous exploration and improvement in future practice.
