Humanistic education is the soul of education, whose level connects to the quality of our people, our civilization, and the whole country’s development. It becomes the key to educate our teenagers. The local Chinese teaching materials used in Tibetan junior middle school are valuable education resource, which have lots of articles that contain rich humanistic materials and build up a overall cognitive system of humanistic spirits.Chapter One is the introduction part. Chapter Two analyses the contents of Chinese and western humanistic spirits, and then summarizes the intention of humanities. Chapter Three briefly classify the contents of humanistic spirits hidden in local Chinese textbooks in Tibetan junior middle school and analyses the textbooks’characteristics. It also points out shortcomings and gives some suggestion as well. Chapter Four expounds that the contents of humanistic spirits in local Chinese textbooks in Tibetan junior middle school produce teaching functions towards Tibetan teenagers, which can cultivate them to be a country-lover, to be a good behavior, to have a positive attitude toward life and values, and to have a higher taste towards culture and beauty. Chapter Five is about what principles Chinese teachers should follow to educate our teenagers in Tibet according to the spiritual materials buried in teaching materials. It contains period principle, pluralistic forgiveness principle, human-centered principle, emotional principle, practical principle and so on. Hoping it can be of help to Chinese humanistic education in Tibetan junior middle school.
