Self-regulated learning has been put forward and applied for teaching widely in modern West. In order to assist students to be better at learning and encouraging them to learn more actively and forwardly, self-regulated learning means students teach themselves could substitute for traditional teaching in classroom. It looks self-regulated learning in Chinese reading as a way of learning in this thesis, and discusses it from theory and practice. New Course Standard regulates clearly that elf-regulated learning is a way of learning. Self-regulated reading in Chinese is to achieve the goal of New Course Standard, school and student. According to theory directs practicing, I will analyze the essence, features and theoretical basis of self-regulated reading from the significance of self-regulated reading. Considering the trend of development in modern education and the request of New Course Standard, I analyze the importance of self-regulated reading to students, school and society, and direct our teaching. Connected theory and practice of self-regulated reading, I suggest instructional design, method and evaluation about self-regulated reading, and specialize the examples of my teaching. I do my best to introduce my teaching about self-regulated reading.New Course Standard asks the change in the way of learning. This gets along with times demand. Self-regulated learning produced from this demand. When student is reading text, he could recall his similar experiences and obtain new personal experiences. This kind reading activates student's thought and inspiration of creation, in addition, it enriches student's life and promote ability. Reading urges student to read cannily and feel spiritual power. Though the deep conversations between student and text, student is able to comprehend deeply and personally based on understanding text. At the same time, student could advance language sentiment, language analyzing and his expression. On the one hand, teacher pay attention to teaching, at the same time, teacher together with students reads text, requiring experiences and leading student's reading to make sure self-regulated reading carry through favorably.
