In terms of the protection of the ancient town of Taierzhuang, legislation is not still perfect, public consciousness of cultural heritage protection is still relatively weak and currently. Legal protection can provide legal basis and safeguard for the old city planning implementation and standardize the management, and can avoid the excessive commercial development brought man-made destruction to cultural heritage.At the same time, legal protection has important practical significance in the innovation of cultural heritage protected mode and explores developing paths of cultural industry.This paper focuses on the legal protection of Taierzhuang ancient town by a variety of research methods. It combines the theories of sociology, history, economics and law, etc, to analyze the necessity of legal protection of the ancient city. Taierzhuang ancient town of legal protection has a lot of problems, including lack of clear legal principles, poor operability, the lack of capital sources’channel and low public participation and legal basis, etc. Compared to Japan, France, Britain, Italy and other countries oflegal protection of the ancient town, and we can learn their successful experience. In the aspect of legal system construction:clear protection principles and bjects, the non-material cultural heritage into the protection scope; By improving the responsibility mechanism, so that the punishment and sentencing for vandalism ancient city is more detailed and accurate. In the aspects of administrative management system,it includes the basis of the double management system, studying the Italian "cultural relics custodian" system, in order to overcome the low administrative efficiency brought by the management program trival. In terms of conservation planning, it makes for to do advance planning, making the planning to play a guiding role rather than the mere formality. In terms of capital investment, we can draw lessons from the practice of Japan, Britain, Italy and other countries, the proportion of investment to legalize by collecting money from government grants, public, cultural industry, and other channels for the protection of historical cities.
