| It is an everlasting subject that man and the nature coexist harmoniously in the course of human development. In recent years, the deteriorating ecological environment poses a threat to human survival and development, which has been caught the attention of all humanity. Meanwhile, the ecological destruction also drives us to rethink the relationship between human and the nature, as well as our lifestyles. The Marx’s view of nature has received people’s attention with the view being inherited and developed by Western Marxism; hence, the philosophy of "Return to Marx" has been advocated in the community, with the scientific methodologies and worldviews of Marxism Philosophy being applied to solve new situations and problems in practice. In this sense, the Marx’s view of nature has become a key to tackle the ecological problem, providing wisdom and theoretical basis for human.Adopting a research approach from history to reality, this article centers on the practical reason embodied in the Marx’s view of nature to examine various schools of thoughts and views of nature prior to the Marx’s view of nature, and the features of the Marx’s view of nature, namely, the philosophical paradigm with practical reason based on practice. Besides, the article demonstrates the significance of the Marx’s view of nature on the ecological Marxism, as well as the revelation of the practical Marx’s view of nature in the drive of building an ecological and civilized society.The Marx’s view of nature, as a modern philosophy, enjoys a promising future and it has offered us theoretical guidance and scientific wisdom in the scientific application of environmental ethics, settlement of the global ecological problem and establishment of a beautiful China in conservation.
