According to the law, news media mustn`t disclose the personalinformation of juvenile suspects or criminals, including their names, photosand other information that may infer the identity of the minor criminals.The enforcement agencies and the judiciary are also not allowed todisclose the personal information of juvenile suspects and criminalspublicly or privately in the process of handling juvenile delinquency cases.Even if the law defines that the information disclosure of juvenilesuspects and criminals is illegal, the phenomena of disclosing personalinformation of juvenile suspects and criminals often appear in practice.Special attention should be aroused on the phenomenon that lawenforcement agencies and the judiciary act as news source in some newsreports, disclosing the information illegally, such as the Li Tianyigang-rape case.This article focuses on the behavior of illegally disclosing personalinformation of minor criminals. By tracing several typical cases, the articleanalyses the types, reasons and results of such illegal informationdissemination from the first chapters to the fourth chapters. The finalchapter sorts out experiences of United States, Britain and Taiwan, thenoffers several recommendations.
