Prevention Research On Group Events Of University Students

With the promotion of reform and opening up and the development of market economy, the schools of higher education in China have been witnessing the profound transformation both in terms of internal and external environment. The changes include the expansion of enrollments, the deepening of teaching reform, the change of teaching model, the socialization of logistics services, which have led to the ever-increasing disputes involving the faculty and students. At the same time, the fast development of China also raised the feud from the west, and they take the schools of higher education as the front to carry on corruption penetration and peaceful evolution towards the international rivals, during which process the undergraduates inevitably become the first victims. In addition, the group of college students is active-minded and thinks independently. They are getting better in term of adapting to the new ideas. They tend to pay a great deal of attention to international events and have strong awareness of safeguarding individual and collective rights and interests. The widespread adoption of Internet renders students more susceptible to the shock of wrong public opinions, cultural thoughts and traditional values. All these elements combined increased the uncertainty of the development of institutions of higher education and the incidence of campus group events has been on the rise. The negative impact of campus group events poses a threat not only to the order of the school but also the peace of the society as well as the stability of politics. Therefore, strengthening the system building of the prevention of group events and solving the problem while they are still in the early stages is an imperative and crucial subject facing the current society.This paper focuses on the real situation of schools of higher education in China and conducts profound theoretical research based on the real cases. It explores the deeply-rooted causes of the group events and on the basis of that comes up with the detailed idea of establishing a preventive system of group events on campus. The whole paper falls into the following four parts.The first part is introduction. It introduces the research background, the current study home and abroad, the theory basis of the research and the methodology of the research. Meanwhile, it illustrates the theoretical and practical meanings of the preventive system for group events on campus, providing strong support for further carrying on of the research.The second part details the basic theory of group events on campus, including the illustration and definition of related concepts. The different types of the events are categorized from different perspectives and the impacts of the events are also analyzed systematically. It proves the necessity of setting up a preventative system for controlling group events on campus in term of theory.The third part analyzes the causes of group events from the perspective of society, schools, and students respectively. Meanwhile, the detailed systematic illustration of the specific performance of the events is included, which provides the theory basis for the prevention.The fourth part demonstrates the specific outline for the prevention of such group events, including legitimate execution, pre-warning and coordination, ideological education, team building, ambience creating, which is a scientific preventative system. The establishment of a curbing system to stop the occurrence of such events from the very beginning is also effective in tackling such issues.The research of this paper aims at improving the awareness of group events on campus to some extent, increasing the awareness of risk, improving the management measures, strengthening prevention so that the safety of school of higher education could be maintained and the work of education can go on smoothly. All these would help lay a solid foundation for the building of a harmonious society and revitalization of the nation.
