The Sinicization Of Marxism Development View After The Founding Of New China

Development is the theme of the contemporary world, as well as the priority of Chinesecommunist party to govern and rejuvenate our country. After the founding of new China, thetheoretical knowledge on development has experienced a process from unilateral andimmature to comprehensive and mature with the changing of social practice. On the basis ofdifferent time characteristics and different developing tasks, the outlook on development isendowed with various periodical features. Although there are different development outlooksin different times, they are in essence closely related with each other as a whole. As the latesttheoretical achievement, the Scientific Outlook on Development is the inheritance andpromotion of the previous relevant theories and is the comprehensive collection of Marxismin China. Since the concept of scientific development is proposed, academic circles pay moreand more attention on the development in our country, bringing about rich researchachievements. However, there are few academic achievements which compare and analyzeevolution of development views from the perspectives of balance, emphasis, coordination,and science. Therefore, the present paper will make a further exploration on sinicization ofmarxism development view from the angle of balance, emphasis, coordination, and science,then summing up historical experiences and lessons.This paper is made up of five parts. The first part is a general introduction. The secondpart illustrates the thought origin from the worldwide perspective and traditional perspective,including Marxism, the advanced developing theories abroad and the excellent developingtheories at home. The third part presents the four stages which the development view ofMarxism in China has experienced, namely, the balanced development, the focus ondevelopment, the coordinated development, and the scientific outlook on development. Fromthe development stage of the four characteristics into four different stages ofdevelopment.The fourth part introduces the characteristics of the sinicization of Marxismdevelopment view, and its innovations in comparison to the classic Marxism view ofdevelopment. Points in six major characteristics and four described the innovation place. Thefifth part summarizes the enlightenments derived from the evolution of Marxism concept ofdevelopment in China. According to the various features of the periodical development, thedevelopment views are classified, compared and summarized. Doing like this contributes to the understanding of the development theories in China, to regarding the development as adynamic process and to strengthening the communist faith. Besides, it is significant inenhancing the consciousness of putting the scientific development view into the practice andin realizing the “China Dream” through retrospecting the history and to looking forward tothe future.
