Since China’s reforms and opening up taken in the1980s, China’s large rural population and labor force flow between urban and rural areas, which has become one of the most striking phenomenon in China’s social and economic life. As the epitome of social change and transformation in China, migrant workers have made great contributions to the modernization of our country, but as a unique work group to China, the existence of migrant workers inevitably led to many economic and social problems. Since the new century, the new generation migrant workers who were born in and after the1980s quietly looms into view, gradually occupy most of the migrant workers, and have begun to act as the main force of migrant workers camp, the impact on the society is also highlighted day by day. The new generation migrant workers’live picture is the national important project and the government of the people’s livelihood engineering, its social attitudes to social stability and the benign operation is of great reference significance. This study combs the domestic and foreign literature related to attitudes and social attitudes, deeply analyzes the deficiency and lack of existing literature, draws the changes in diachronic dimension, carries out questionnaire survey among214new generation migrant workers in Nanjing, and does participant observation on the spot of A furniture factory in Nanjing, represents the new generation of migrant workers’living conditions including income, social support networks, expectations for the future, the survival state of the job satisfaction, etc., and by adopting the combination of quantitative and qualitative methods, analyzes the new generation migrant workers social attitudes influence factors, and places it into the social political economic background for the interpretation, tries to put forward policy suggestions for the government on optimization of new generation migrant workers social attitudes on the basis of the findingsThis study finds that for the new generation of migrant workers, their income and work is more important, because it is an important factor in the ability to prove myself to peer groups. At the same time, the new generation of migrant workers is in a state of double edge, who met the unpleasant affairs may rely on the social support network constituted by fellow-villagers and friends. Although filled with hope for the future, but because of the social security imperfect and working pressure, the new generation of migrant workers are swing state of existence self-satisfaction, in the Chinese experience with the characteristics of the marginalized personality. This research shows that social attitudes of new generation migrant workers is not optimistic. In the new generation migrant workers’social attitude to the government, the positive description of the government are more moderate, the negative description of the government are more agreed; in the attitudes of the government’s degree of obedience, besides the obedience of parent-child relationships is more in recognition, the other is mostly expressed their disobedient attitude, which expressed their own political subject consciousness. In addition, in the new generation of migrant workers’social attitudes towards the social inequality, their sense of inequality is evident, and they identify the social inequality they met, and hold the moderate attitude towards the gap between the rich and the poor. In addition, the social attitudes from more positive to more negative they would have before and after the new generation migrant workers working in the city. In the social attitude influence factor, the new generation of migrant workers’implicit social attitudes are more related to the long-term internalize gender discrimination, because women hold the more indifferent view to government and inequality. In the explicit social attitudes, the new generation migrant workers on the government’s attitude has positive correlation among the perception of inequality, job satisfaction, level of education and family income-consumer satisfaction, but negative correlation between the social attitudes towards the gap between rich and poor and their job position. To be specific, compared with women, the new generation male migrant workers more agree negative descriptions of the government; the more new generation of migrant workers perceived inequality, the more negative description of government agree; The higher level of education the new generation migrant workers locate, the lower compliant to the government they will make; The higher job satisfaction the new generation of migrant workers have, the higher identity to the government’s positive description they will have; the more satisfied on household income consumption, the more new generation of migrant workers agree to obey the government; The higher job position the new generation migrant workers stay, the smaller feelings of the gap between rich and poor they will have.In order to optimize the social attitudes of new generation migrant workers, this study puts forward the suggestion to the government from the three aspects as follows:the administration should adopt a four-pronged approach to change government’s functions and bring about an advance in innovating management mechanism; the enterprise should establish and optimize modern enterprise system, fulfil their social responsibility; the NGOs should play a role in bridging the gulf and provide a strong communication link between the government, enterprise and the migrant workers.
