"War makes women go away",this point always lead to different views from all levels of society. On one hand,someone think that women are gentle,goodness,they are not fit for the cruel war.Meanwhile, under the traditional custom, women play the role of mother or wife.Their life should focus on their family.It is not be permitted or critical to do some jobs away from their family life.Therefore, women join the army encounter strongly opposed. On the other hand,someone agrue that women have contributed significantly to national stability peace since the beginning of America’s founding. It is inevitable for women join in the war. Many women have a strong willness to serve their country,they are careful,cautious and good discipline, those characteritics are very suitable for some postions in the army. Even initially follow men went to war, they showed great courage and sacrifice. However, the society are all ignore to offer the corresponding reward, social security and status to women who make contributions in the war. Thus, Women volunteered to join the army should be supported, and real recognition and respect.This article is based on World War Ⅱ American women volunteers as a pointcut to explore the meaning and value of women to join the army.The introduction part mainly talks about overseas and domestic research status on female U.S.soldiers during World War Ⅱ, and the significance of this article topic and the innovation and difficultyThis article is divided into three parts, the first part maily summarized the women volunteers history from USA founding to the outbreak of the second world war, analyzes the characteristics of each stage,clearly show the change of the women roles. Intially, follow men from the army or from the female role dresser. Later,the army began to recruit nurses, clerical sergeant,and soon, women began to move out of the stereotype jobs into nontraditional fields, at the same time,they became more and more recognized and supported because of their outstanding performance.The second part is the core of this article, it attempts to by means of three aspect problems about female troops, recruiting process, female encountered issues to show the female soldier image in case of lack of women volunteers historical data of world war ii. In this part, we can see every female founded troop were subjected to a tortuous path Until the war demands increased for women to replace men in some jobs and some people strongly advocated both pushed attitudes and changing customs.The three part is the specific characteristics of attitudes and changing customs-omen volunteers characteristics and significance.After World war ii, women change from the subsidiary status as independent troops,began to get the "complete" military status. On one hand,female soldiers get the same status as the male soldiers. On the other hand,the army,however,restrict women much more,not only on the job distribution,but also on the reward,welfare and so on have stealth differences.In a word,this paper agrues that more and more women join forces is the inevitable trend of history.Since, the modern social science technology is highly developed, intelligence factors needs is up,physical factors needs is down in the military building.Under this technology tide,women own advantages will be more and more apparent.
