Research On New Fourth Army Field Service Corps

The New Fourth Army Field Service Corps is an anti-Japanese national salvation organization directly under the leadership of the New Fourth Army Political Department.It mainly engages in literature and art propaganda and the pro-democracy movement.It uses drama,music,art,dance and literature as a weapon to publicize the anti-Japanese claim of the CPC and mobilizes and organizes the masses to participate in the anti-Japanese national salvation movement.This article is divided into five chapters.The first chapter introduces the background of the establishment of the New Fourth Army Field Service Corps.The New Fourth Army Field Service Corps,under the background of the Anti-Japanese War,meets the strong desire of patriotic intellectuals to defend the homeland and protect the country.The New Fourth Army Field Service Corps is the inevitable product of the historical mission of propagandize the Communist Party and the New Fourth Army’s Anti Japanese claims.The second chapter introduces the general situation of the New Fourth Army Field Service Corps from three aspects: the source of personnel,the composition of the leadership and the organization.The third chapter sorts out the four major activities carried out by the New Fourth Army Field Service,including literature and art publicity,democracy movement,united front activities,logistical support and other aspects.The fourth chapter summarizes the historical role of the New Fourth Army Field Service Corps,namely: propagating the anti-Japanese proposition of the Communist Party of Chinese,creating a large number of outstanding literary and art works,cultivating a large number of revolutionary literary and artistic soldiers,enriching the cultural life of soldiers and civilians in the base areas and expanding the anti-Japanese national united front.The fifth chapter summarizes the Enlightenment of the work of the New Fourth Army Field Service Corps on the propaganda work of the contemporary Chinese literature and art.The main contents include: upholding the literary and artistic direction of the masses,combining cultural contents with the forms of the nation and the times,paying attention to the cultivation of the backbone of literature and art.
