| With the sustained and rapid development of China’s economy, people’s spiritual andmaterial life has improved significantly, but the proportion of the elderly population alsoincreased, the problem of population aging in China is facing serious challenges.On the otherside, when older people retired from the workplace, they shifted their roles from professionalroles into casual roles, therefore a number of retired older people have some physiologicaland psychological problems. To solve these problems, as a social worker, how to make themadapt to the changing role better, with an optimistic and positive attitude to face the problem,to rekindle the passion and fun of the life, is a problem that we need to think hard.In this article, through reading a large number of references, the retired older people’ssocial role imbalance problem carried on the thorough analysis, from two aspects of theelderly themselves causes and external causes are analyzed. The author thinks that, from theelderly themselves mainly include: the elderly poor psychological adjustment ability, lack ofself-knowledge, body function decline, economic level and social status of drop, poorcommunication skills, low level of social participation. Starting from the external causes ofthe elderly life mainly include: social guarantee mechanism is not sound for the elderly, thereare the cause of the government, the reason of the cause of the family, community, etc. Inaddition, in view of these reasons make the corresponding countermeasure analysis.To highlight the practical value of the social work profession, the author takes Baodingcase A to study. Through in-depth exposure to the case A, using the research methods ofparticipant observation and unstructured interview, in strict accordance with the professionalrelationship, collect data, evaluate and analyze problems, plan, implementation plan andevaluation results, the process of the settlement, on the case A problems in the social and helpcase A to better adapt to the new social roles. |
