The Preliminary Of The Training System Of Social Worker In The Period Of Republic

As a discipline which helps people to help themselves，social work is irreplaceable formeeting social demands and solving social issues，and playing a remarkable prompting role inconstructing the harmonious society and realization of “China dream”. The existence of socialwork discipline is indispensable. As the main executors of social work, social worker areessential. However, the problems in the professional system of social work are apparent.Therefore, improving the professional cultivation system of social work has becomeparticularly important.As an exotic, social work was introduced to China by the foreign missionaries, andbecame more prevalent in the Period of the Republic after exploration in localization. In thePeriod of Republic, the cultivation system of social work professional was relatively completeafter the responding localization. The universities set up relevant courses to cultivate socialwork professionals. The government attached more importance, taking more efforts to supportthe cultivation of social work professional, and setting up short training courses to cultivatesocial work professionals. We can learn something from the innovative practice at that time,and reflect on it. So, the thesis is to sort out the cultivation system of social workprofessionals in the Period of Republic and put forward constructive ideas for theconsummation of the system. The first part of the thesis is a brief introduction. In this part, anoutlook will be made on the research background, the research significance, the researchmethod, the research status quo both domestically and overseas. The second part is to describethe status of the cultivation system of social work professionals in the universities in thePeriod of Republic. Firstly，an introduction will be made in the outset of the social work in thePeriod of Republic, followed by an introduction to the overall status of the cultivation systemof social work professionals at that time. Then, Yenching University and Jinling Universitywill be used as examples, making a comparative analysis on the elements of the cultivatingsystem of work professionals in Yenching University and Jingling University. Thirdly, fromthe perspective of the government, the short training courses conducted by the department ofsociety will be analyzed and lessons drawn from it. The forth part is to put forward innovativesuggestions to the consummation of the cultivation system of social work professionals. A contrast will be made after a meticulous research on the personnel training in the Period ofRepublic. Finally, innovative corresponding reform measures will be presented from all theelements of the system.
