| The Chinese Traditional Concept of Honor and Disgrace is an important resourceand wealth for contemporary Ideological and Moral Education. Proposed on pre-QinDynasty, the Chinese Traditional Concept of Honor and Disgrace was inherited whilecriticized. It had a significant impact on people’s thinking and behavior then wasbecoming an important part of Chinese traditional culture. However, in high-speeddevelopment today, along with the rapid development of economy, diverse culturesand a variety of trends, there has been the phenomenon of deterioration of moralanomie social atmosphere. In this paper, we make the exploring the resources toTraditional Concept of Honor and Disgrace as a start,find its value for ContemporaryIdeological and Moral Education, and suggest some ways for how to practice.
