As1997Asian financial crisis erupted, the international community recognizethat the international financial problem to solve need the western developedcountries, but also the developing country. December,1999, the inaugural meetingof the Group of Twenty meeting in Berlin, G20came into being. Emerging marketcountries represented by China added to global economic governance of the innercircle. The western developed countries, however, firmly grasp the G20rules of right.Meeting topics mostly focus on that the western developed countries are interestedin.However, G20doesn’t really rise up to the surface until2008G20financial crisis,as a savior. Since then, G20became a hot topic people, related articles have becomepopular. However, most people are still in the shallow understanding of the G20appearance. And domestic research in this regard is relatively insufficient. Therefore,this article attempts to depict the context of the advent of G20.The article also triesto reveal the nature of this issue and make an in-depth analysis of the challengesconfronting the G20with a view to coming up with the right polices which areconducive to the development of the G20by discussing the following topics: thedeclining cohesion, the underrepresentation, the imperfection and the limitation ofthe G20,the inadequacy of the G20to substitute for the G8,the inequity between thedeveloped countries and the emerging ones within the group as well as the internaldivision of the G20. Hope this can help a better understanding of G20to the people.
