Adverbs "Han" Level

"HouHan-Shu"is a biographical history book about195-year history of late Han,written by Fan Ye who lived in Nan dynasty.It is in the transition of Chinese from ancient to medieval development.its academic value of study is very important.There are a number of adverbs of degree in "HouHan-Shu"and the difference during them is large.In this paper,based on an exhaustive analysis,combined synchronic and lasted view,we will take a research of the degree adverbs in "HouHan-Shu". This paper includes five parts:The first chapter,Introduction. First, briefly introduce the corpus value,status and the value of adverbs of degree of "HouHan-Shu"; then summarize the research overview of adverbs of degree.With reference to the views Yang Bojun,He Leshi(2001) took in the "Ancient Chinese Grammar and Its Development".We determine the criteria and classification standards as "commonly used before the verb or adjective, which means that the extent of the act or state" and six subcategories.Finally, this paper describes the ideas and methods in the research.The second chapter,the classification and specific analysis of the adverbs of degree in "HouHan-Shu". There are6classes,43degree adverbs:7extremely high degree adverbs,"Zhi", etc.4over-degree adverbs,"Guo",etc.12high-degree adverbs,"Shen", etc.7slight degree adverbs,"Cha",etc.10changed degree adverbs,"Yi",etc;3adverbs close to a certain degree,"Shu",etc.The third chapter, the syntactic functions and location of degree adverbs. Their syntactic functions are primarily as adverbial,only "Shen" and "Ji" can be used for the complement;degree adverbs’ position presents a unique rule.The fourth chapter,Comparative study of the degree adverbs to "ZuoZhuan" and "ShiJi". Analyze some common adverbs of degree used in the three literature, analysis characteristics of the degree adverbs in "HouHan-Shu" in the last stage.Chapter V,Conclusion. According to the foregoing description,analyze and summarize several features of the degree adverbs in "HouHan-Shu".
