Study Theater Development

After combing the references and conducting the in-depth interview, the intention of this thesis is to summarize the experience and lessons drawn from the theatre investment, programming, and system designing to put forward the suggestions about the investment for theatre building, size and construction mode based on the deep analysis of the theatre industry and opera troupe and review the questions from the domestic practice of theatre construction. The theatre in a city should be formed a community and thus it can give full play on the city construction of cultural community as a whole which based on the principles of diversified styles, suitable sizes, functional complementarily, flexible mechanism.By analyzing the competition structure, industry features of theater industry and applying the transaction costs theory, especially the asset specificity theory, as well as making SWOT analysis of three theatrical performances, I will give a proposition that the theatre with classroom style should be developed vigorously by appropriate development pattern and integration mode.In view of the implementation of standard operation procedure (SOP) and in order to strengthen the theatre management and service standard, the solution such as ticket management, spectator service, human resources, information application etc will be offered. Also the theory of internal control management, social performance studies will be used for reference based on the advantages and characteristics of this industry.
