Art Research And Development Community In China (1978-2013)

Under the background of the reform and opening up nearly forty years,takinglongitudinal historical periods as the main line, and the historical roles andinfluences of several representative art communityat that timeas the transverse nodes, thethesis concentrates on the evolution of Chinese art community. Searching the ups anddowns of the historical status between the associations and several main art associationsof their own development change, the thesis focuses on the social and culturalphenomenon, and the development system and environment for thefine artsassociations.Because ofthe strong regional characteristics of community development, and Beijing isChina Cultural Arts Center, many important art associations are registered in Beijing andcarry out activities, so this thesis focuses on the associations of Fine Arts in Beijing. Thispaper will take examples for the official art associations Chinese Artists Association andthe establishment of the earliest, most influential folk art community China oil paintingsociety as an example, describes the development process of these two different buthighly representative of the art community, researches the overall development of changesto the industry associations of Fine Arts in China, as well as their closeness to theChinesecontemporary art history.
