| The paper describes the formation of ancient Chinese ink spectrum as a start point,and displays the history of ancient Chinese ink and the function of ink from use tocollection. The paper also organizes the history development of Chinese ink and thesituation of Chinese ink spectrum in Ming Dynasty. The author used a literature study forthe personal biography of Cheng Dayue, who was compiled the causes for <Cheng ShiMo Yuan>. Cheng hired painters and carves to draw and inscribe artworks. He alsostudied different types of prints and collected the essays from ancient writers. Therefore,<Cheng Shi Mo Yuan> is a masterpiece of ancient Chinese printmaking. The content of <Cheng Shi Mo Yuan> is diversified because of Cheng communicated and cooperated withdifferent filed people. Product cooperation of <Cheng Shi Mo Yuan> is benefited for thedevelopment of contemporary printmaking art. |
