Painting And Social Events

In this thesis，we traced the relationship between painting and social events---usingpainting to involve the expression of social events---briefly,starting from social events andbasing on time dimension. According to the creative methods and standpointspreference,we simply classified the painting creations which applied social events, andshow examples further to analyze the personal expressions by the use of social events tocreate.From the Renaissance to the present, Concerned about the20th century whoachieved quite achievements in this aspects,for example,Gerhard Richter, Luc Tuymans,Anselm Kieffer, Daniel Dietrich, Susan Turcot etc,use the method of visual culturalstudies, from the perspective of historical background, personal memories and artistsinvolved in the perspective of social events and other aspects of the class to explorechanges in the social event of the function and value of the painting, and focus onpersonal creation of artists involed in social events.In the part of personalizedconstruct,according to the way of personalizd construct,is devided into four parts:1, fromthe "copy" to "Copy";2, national culture and historical legends;3, another worldmetaphors;4the power of intuition. On the whole, after the second half of the19thcentury, the artist’s creation of social events have been completely out of the frame of theoriginal painting history,instead of the more integration of personal attitudes.While socialevents itself is a public nature, but artists use expression of social events have becomemore metaphorical, vague, indirect, ambiguous and personal....
