Xiao Hong became famous in1930s’ Shanghai as the "Los literature God" in the20th century. In terms of her short creative career, she was qualified to be the most brilliant and most successful novelist. From the1980s onwards, there has formed a Xiao Hong fever. Fruitful research and a variety of methods in the field show the meaning of Xiao Hong and her literary works. However, have read through the research of Xiao Hong, I found there still are space in this field, especially on the children’s perspective of narrative in Xiao Hong’s works. This article focuses on the children’s narrative of Xiao Hong in three chapters.Chapter One is about the causes of children’s narrative of Xiao Hong. At first, it explains the effects of Xiao Hong’s life on her narrative mainly in two aspects: successful transformation of childhood experience into her literary expressions; the memories of motherhood and her writing, a relationship which as the maternal traumatic experiences constitutes the aesthetics of Xiao Hong’s children narrative and shapes her inner motivation for writing. Secondly, how the foreign cultural trends were shaping Xiao Hong’children’s narrative.Chapter Two searches Xiao Hone’s distinguished narrative mode:the intergenerational communication between grandpa and granddaughter and the contrast between the children world and the adult one. This mode mainly covers two aspects:the child who never grow up and the Party which replaced the mother of playing a leading role for children. The former was related with the Chinese traditional family structure and the traditional way of education, and moreover, it can be viewed the result that the author reflected her traumatic experience and spewed out her "grandfather complex" which she had in her mind for many years. From this, we could detect Xiao Hong’s analysis of the norm of mother’s role in the revolutionary times. The latter is the result of the author’s persistent attention to "human being". The children world and the adult world in the mode become opposite. In the contrast between the children world and the adult world, the former becomes the ideal against which the morbid soul of Chinese people was criticized. The last chapter selects the perspective of children as the narrative strategy which best embodies author’s creative motivation and mental background. There are three aspects in this chapter:narrative characteristic of children’s perspective, role of children’s perspective in the texts, and the application of Xiao Hong’s children’s perspective, as well as the aesthetics effects for which Xiao Hong employed the children’s perspective to create. Because there are two points of view in the works, children and adults, two entirely different discourse systems formed. Both sets of discourse system in the freedom of movement and narrative function of natural changes of harmony. Presents a broad narrative space, as well as a great deal of narrative freedom, Discourse system not only isolated effects between, Are superimposed, the complementary effect, Author of life experience and the change of perspective of life to reflect on how one by one with the flow of the narrative discourse in the show.
