Religion-state relations is nearly a question which appears with Islam establishes simultaneously, secular authority and religious authority coexist for a long time, which become the prominent phenomenon of Iranian society, this paper describes the role of ulama in Qajar dynasty political events in order to explore Iran Qajar dynasty religion-state relations, in addition also pay attention to the evolution of Shiite religious thought of the Safavid dynasty to Qajar dynasty. The aim is to clarify the influence of Shiite religious thought for Iran Qajar dynasty religion-state relations.This paper is divided into four parts, the first chapter focuses on religion-state relations prior to the establishment of Qajar dynasty, including the Safavid dynasty, the Afshar Dynasty, Zand dynasty religious profile. The second chapter discusses the religion-state relations form beginning of Qajar dynast to Muhammad, in addition, focusing on the dispute between the Usuli School and the Akhbaris School, explaining the importance of the Usuli School’s victory for the Qajar dynasty religion-state relations’ transition. focuses on the religion-state relations during the Abbas Mirza and Muhammad period, primarily through tests ulama’s role in the war in Iran and Russia and Babu send uprising, discussing the religion-state relations. Chapter Ⅲ discusses the religion-state relations end of Qajar dynasty and narratives the New Deal during the ulama and Nasir ud-Din period, as well as the ulama’s role against the tobacco monopoly rights movement, in order to demonstrate the religion-state relations. focuses on the role of ulama in early constitutional revolution, mainly on the political role in the early stage of the constitutional revolution. Chapter four focus why was ulama have important influence power in Qajar dynasty, and focus on characteristic of religion-state relations in Qajar.
