Poetic Lu Lvjun Blue Art

The long history of Chinese painting and the abundance of previous artists greatly enriched traditional culture of Chinese nation. Originated from Chinese painting and owing to the artistry and practicality, blue and white porcelain has been the symble of Chinese culture, becoming the quintessence of China. The porcelain (china) overwhelming the globe along with the Maritime Silk Road made China.Although the blue and white porcelain art can date back to the Tang Dynasty, nevertheless, breakthroughs are still too difficult to be done in the traditional techniques even after years. Today there is someone named Lvjun Lu achieved the unprecedented and tremendous success, inheriting and surpassing our predecessors. He developed a totally new art style of the blue and white porcelain by stressing on the spirits instead of the crafts and involving Chinese traditional painting, canvas, aquarelle, engraving and other Chinese and foreign artistry. His works perform a wide range of topics, full of poetic artistry. Throughout Lvjun Lu’s the blue-and-white, poetic expression and unique ingenuity exist everywhere in his works, such as the North snowy field, pine of Huang Mountain, dragon-like waterfalls, rapids in valley and hibiscus.This dissertation is going to expound on the poetry of Lvjun Lu’s blue-and-white art in3aspects hereinbelow. Firstly, the poetry of Chinese painting:Trace back to the poetry of Chinese painting gives a brief poetic structure of Chinese painting, making a derivation; Secondly, the Lvjun Lu’s art career:It is going to introduce Lu’s apprentice origin and his artistic experience and study the poetry of his poems, calligraphy and paitings, starting from the origin of Lu’s thoughts; Thirdly, Lvjun Lu’s unique poetic style of the blue-and-white:It’s going to research the expression of Lu’s artistic poetry based on his blue-and-white creative themes, and then explore his feminine and masculine expression ways. Finally, his blue-and-white poetic character is to be concluded as well as his artistic achievement and enlightenment.In history, only a handful of quintessential china has been preserved till today due to the limitations of the firing techniques, the imperfections of painting skills, or the porcelain’s fragile nature. However, the firing and painting touch upon the customs and conventions of handed-down arts, much of which are of secret recipes, little-known by people. Besides, that very few books are focus on china results in the lack of cultural writings. That’s a huge pity for china art history.This dissertation expounds ways of deep expressions of Chinese blue-and-white porcelain artistry, with the topic of the poetry based on Lvjun Lu’s blue-and-white porcelain artistry. Hence this paper can contribute to enrich the creative theories of the blue-and-white porcelain arts and proide some theoretical references for the development of Chinese china. This paper is looking forward to more thinking and attention on the blue-and-white porcelain arts.
