Summary In the course of this paper put pools in the traditional painting andcalligraphy on silk using paper materials summarizing grouped, understand itsfeatures, combined with practical experience, old paintings and calligraphy,different damage conditions adapted treatment. Rice paper, silk silk basematerial is both a traditional painting and calligraphy creation and carrier, but asmounting fix the individual shape of essential ingredients. This in-depth studyon calligraphy and painting conservation and restoration is significant. Feattradition of conservation and restoration of cultural relics in China because of itsown particular lineage but also the preservation and inheritance do not haveaccess to the system. Coupled with initial combination of Western modernscience attempts to considerable number of paintings and calligraphy, treasuresor important cultural relics have not properly addressed and caused irreversibledamage, these are our protection of paintings and calligraphy, as well as framedin the future development of repair techniques has raised new issues,standardized method of systematic theory of operation theory should beestablished and further developed. Study and inherit the traditional paintings andcalligraphy, repair techniques, clearly characteristic of ingredients in this process,especially the paper selection and reasonable selection of silk material. Oncalligraphy and painting restoration practice has important significance.
