Ian McEwan (Ian McEwan,1948-), the most influential contemporaryBritish writers. Since he published his first works-short stories "first love lastrites"in1975, which caused a sensation. After that, with the advent of the first novel,he continued his career. Affecting also grew. Today, he has already published22novels. Although only55years old, he has been considered the dean of contemporaryBritish literary world-class writer.Throughout McEwan’s work, I found that all his works are about childrens’growing up, most of these children are special-they are all abandoned the family,are social outsiders, and everyone is similar to one individual alone. These kids"premature" mixed with tender, sensitive in revealing fragile, but all hateful andpathetic. Because of its cold and obscure subject of the work, so McEwan sufferedevaluation also varies, even in a period of time to obtain a "terrorist Ian" in the title.By reading his works I found that the growth of his previous works subject line is notonly outstanding, but also presents a significant flow.
