Two Of American, Music Theory Textbooks

Since western music was incoming, the textbooks and monograph of music theoryhas published hundreds of them. In recent years, there had appeared a large number ofdifferent versions of the basic music theory textbooks. The author has selected a BasicMusic Theory book that has been in print continuously, reprinted several times andvery important in domestic(was written by Yan ChengQuan and Tong Zhongliang),and another Music Theory textbook in United States(that was written by Earl Henryetc.《Fundamentals of Music》，The Sixth Edition). Conduct a comprehensive study,analysis and research. The method that I used was literature research, comparativeanalysis, fix quantitative and qualitative analysis; analyze the content, examples andexercises of the two textbooks. Thus summarize the characteristic of the two books.To provides a little inspiration or help for music theory teaching and textbookcompilation in our country.
