Grottoes temples are a kind of architectures that are cut in the cliffs, the walls of which follow the trends of the mountain and face the interiors, with religious statues and murals of religious story in it. The beginning of Our country’s Grottoes building dates back to the period when Buddhism spreading to the East, developed from west to east, from north to south. Those grottoes which were standing in one thousand years became the Buddhism spreading road signs. It witnessed the development venation of Buddhism in China. And it is an important basis of the study of Chinese religion, history, art, and exchanges of Chinese and foreign cultural. Dunhuang mogao grottoes is located in the silk road between the north and the south three points crossroad,with its trade prosperity and so many temples. It is China’s earliest contact with Buddhism. At the beginning of the Buddhism was introduced in China,Chinese and foreign monks between the western regions and the central plains stayed short periods of time here and had lectures. When the Northern wei dynasty started, Some prestigious monks from dunhuang made Buddhism an unprecedented rapid development. The temple and the dug grottoes is also very popular The dunhuang at one time became the most prestigious "Buddhism metropolis". The walls of the mogao grottoes of Dunhuang are filled with frescoes everywhere such as "day clothes float in the sky","full wall pneumatic dancing elf,.no separation between music dance is the basic characteristics of traditional Chinese dance culture, And also accompany with dancing performance instrument. It also makes the dance itself contains the strong rhythm feeling and metrical sense. the dances in mogao grottoes frescoes images are divided into two main categories, namely the tianle (highbrow dance) and worldly pleasures (secular dancing)The former performance is nirvana and to express the kingdom of dreamland. The latter performance is beauty and joy of scenes in the world. The former has a strong religious color. Filled with saturated colors and exaggerated lines. The latter is a mirror of human. So in general dance image is divided in two types:the Buddhist and secular. And dancing "person" is what we call "JiLeTian" and "ci-poetry music man". Among so many dances naked dancing images are more frequent as well the most representative. But as the change of The Times naked dance styles are also different.
