This article aim to investigate the connection between observation and creation of fine art,analysis the observation and creation methods of Pre-Impressionism and Impressionism as well asPost-Impressionism, take them as examples to prove that the most effective way to help artistsunderstanding all the steps of creating and making their artworks look much more better, is utilizingthe complete theory and the practical significance of observation. Whether the way you observe isright or not, determines the ability of creating and artistic accomplishments you can achieve. Whenan artist was painting something or creating some professional themes, he or she would suffer aseries of difficulties. Among all these difficulties, the most important one is whether the way youobserve correct or not. We can not finish the performance and representation without observation,which means that the method of observation is the precondition of creation. Participant observationis accepted almost as the central and defining method of research in cultural anthropology. Only ifwe emphasis the important inseparable of creating and observation, prevent drawing a lot withoutthinking about it in our mind, we can observe and reflect the real world comprehensive, then createbetter artworks.
