Lunxue Shengchi is the athology of The Imperial Examination articles of Song Dynasty, and compiled by Wei Tianying, commented by Lin Zichang. There are10volumes in this athology, which is the reference book for Imperial Examination with both theory and activities, all the articles selected are excellent in similar works. Although there are some achievements in research Lunxue Shengchi in academia, but the points are widely distributed. Some issues which are closely interrelated with the book itself, such as compiling period and background, standard and feature of selected articles, also the comment system, still need thoroughly and deeply study.This thesis is a special research for Lunxue Shengchi, it continues with deeper and wider research based on former achievements. There are4main aspects in the thesis. In first chapter the compiling issues of Lunxue Shengchi, such as background and motivation are discussed. Second chapter is about the structure of the book, also material and articles selected study. The third chapter is mainly focus on comments and notes system, also the writing rules. The Lunxue’s distribution and appraisal is located in the fourth chapter.
