Ruan Ji lived in the most confused period of Wei and Jin Dynasties. The two is the theory of human nature. Ruan Ji believed thatthe good and evil of human nature as Yin and Yang, is come very naturally, thereis a good and evil in human nature, its development is bound to affect the socialstability, so it needs to etiquette system to restrain, control. Three is the theoryof harmony. Ruan Ji believes that the universe is one of the legal system, is alsoincluded in all things. It is because all in one, to create harmony, as the core ofthe etiquette system of governance implementation should be harmonious andorderly operation.Ruan Ji’s Li-Fa thought emphasized on rite orientation of ethical value. Hebelieved that the ritual orientation of ethical value should be respect for seniorityand think highly of the function of maintaining feudalism rank orders. Only didpeople obey the hierarchy system and guaranteed the stability and harmony ofthe society. However, the compliance with the Li of managing and governing thestate was clearly not enough, so the aid of the law was needed. Method ofpunishment function can make people consciously complied with the provisionsof the ceremony, also can detered people, contributed to social harmony andstability. But the courtesy and law are the external regulations, to achieve realharmony, also need the executive " righteousness". Ruan Ji also followed theConfucianism idea, think " righteousness by qualitative " is a necessary conditionto implement the system of etiquette. For ceremonial system realizes the way, Ruan Ji think should be punishment to teach music to pay equal attention to, thefour complement each other, together play a political function. In the system ofetiquette and law enforcement, should achieve fairness and justice. At the sametime, things are not immutable and frozen, so understanding of etiquette system.Ruan Ji said, should be " ceremony and furniture, music and ", so that thethought of rules and etiquette system in accordance with the requirements of thetimes.Any doctrine and thought surviving thousands of years and still keepinginfluence must have universal reasonable factors matching every particularepoch. The implication of institutional ethics of Ruan Ji thought for our today’sconstruction, stability and maintenance of modern social harmony and orderlyprovides good traditional culture of ethics and institutional resources. Eliminateor desalination Ruan Ji system thought in strict hierarchy and other negativefactors, de law contained in it and keep up with the times, etc., have a moreimportant reference and Enlightenment for our current system construction andmoral construction and other aspects.
