This thesis aims at looking into the learning strategies and the relevant learningeffect of students in Grade1in Medan Asian Friendly Institute in Indonesia.Thestudents were divided into fast class,medium class and slow class. Therefore, thethesis makes comparison among the three groups about their usage of learningstrategies. It turns out that there were differences in memory strategy, cognitivestrategy, compensation strategy, metacognitive strategy, affective strategy andcommunication strategy and discusses about those differences and analyzes thereasons behind. |
