Mo ruzhong and his heir Mo shilong were famous poets,scholars,and artistes inthe mid-Ming dynasty.The research is the first attempt to systematical describe andstudy of their family,life,social relationship and literature.This paper consist of four chapters:Chapter one is the study of Mo family.On the foundation of life detail study,byresearching the first-hand documents,we draw the family tree of Mo ruzhong andMo shilong.Further,from the aspect of family tradition,economical conditions andarea culture,analyzing the family reasons to their literary fame.Chapter two is the study of Mo ruzhong and Mo shilong’s life.first,by analyzingMo ruzhong’s works and other documents,confirm his date of birth anddeath.second part is the confirmation of Mo ruzhong’s official service time.The studyof Mo shilong’s life mainly discussed his youth life in Changshu,and the influence ofhis grandfather Yang yi.Chapter three is the study of Mo ruzhong and Mo shilong’s socialrelationship.This part of research mainly launched in four aspects of view:the inheritof literary concept,the interact of poets’club and the fame known as a collectivegroup.Chapter four mainly studied the literary concept of Mo ruzhong and Moshilong,at the background of mid-Ming dynasties’literary development,whichcentralized in their articles about classical writing.
